Redux: The Storm

In which Michelle and Hailey discuss the episode that, for them, really started it all. This vintage episode leads them to consider the importance of scars, relate a not-so-short personal story, insert another “Mulan” reference, and conduct some really great discussion. They also marvel at and appreciate the far-flung locales of their listeners, and some latent frustration at Nickelodeon may come to the fore as well; ah, the blame game!

Special Edition: Rumors from Hollywood

In which Michelle and Hailey are very pleased to reunite at their humble recording station and provide a concise analysis of recent rumors regarding the “Avatar” movie. They discuss potential actors, James Cameron and an exciting move at Paramount, along with flying unicorns, Legolas and the merits of Philadelphia. For those anticipating our review of “The Storm,” fear not– we will be back next week with that very thing, so stay tuned!

We Plug You, You Plug Me…

Hey everyone! We know it’s been a while (a long while) but we should be back to our semi-regularly scheduled programing this weekend with a discussion of “The Blue Spirit.” (And due to the craziness of both our lives lately, it will probably be the first time we really sit down and talk in like, two weeks. So stay tuned, it ought to be exciting.)

In the meantime, we’d like to let all our listeners who share our love for Harry Potter know about an absolutely amazing Harry Potter podcast called Harry Potter Prognostications. It is hosted by Greg and Penny, and they’ve been going strong with intelligent, thoughtful and hilarious Potter-themed discussion for over a year now. They recently gave us a much-appreciated plug, and we hope you’ll help us return the favor by heading over to HPProgs.com and giving them a listen.* And if you’re a listener of HPProgs who found us through Greg and Penny, let us know in the comments!

Enjoy!

* Just be aware, Harry Potter Prognostications can be PG-13 at times, so if you need to ask your parents, make sure they are okay with it!
